Dear Sir/Mdm,
Re: Financial Assistance
for Student: Nicole Poon Sze
Yen
Greetings to you.
I am drawn
to the news
that you organization
is dispensing financial
aid for needy
students pursuing their
tertiary education in
institutions in the
country.
This student Miss Nicole
Poon Sze Yen, 21, a Johorean
and
residing in Taman
Perling, is currently
pursuing her first
year as an
undergraduate at University
Malaya. She is now
undergoing a course
in Bachelor in Sports
Science which is
a 3 ½ years programme.
In view
of the high
cost of living
and expenditure in
the city of
Kuala Lumpur, she
has approached me for some
financial assistance. I have
no alternative but
to turn to your organization
for assistance. With the
social responsibility your
organization plays in
respect to the
offering of aid to
students wanting to
pursue their higher
education, I believe this
will at least
be of some
help to this student.
I can
vouch for her
as I have
known her for
quite a long
time and indeed
she is a
bright and intellectual
student. I have no
doubt that she
will persevere in
her studies. She completed
her primary and
secondary education at
the Sultan Ibrahim
Girls School (SIGS) in Johor
bahru.
As she
comes from a
middle income group
and has two
other siblings still
studying, I anticipate your
organization would be
able to provide
some assistance to
her. The family is
also hard-tight for
cash. I would appreciate
if you could
assist her with
RM450 – RM500 a month. However, I leave
it at your
discretion on the
amount.
I attach
herewith her supporting
documents for your
glance.
Looking forward
to a favourable reply
from your goodself.
In gratitude, I
remain,
Yours Sincerely,
Vincent D’Silva

Dear Sir/Mdm,
Re: Request for
Financial Assistance to Tuition Classes for
Needy Students
Greetings to
you.
I am
currently teaching a
number of needy
students at two
centres; at Sultan Ismail
Library in Larkin
and at MBJB
Hall at Taman
Johor.
I was
approached by Yayasan
Bandaraya Johor Bahru
to help these
students. Hence, I volunteered my
services in
teaching these students.
These students
come from very
low income group. Hence
I do not
collect any payments
from them. They are pursuing
their Form 5 (SPM) this
year. I coach them
in English Language and literature. There are
about 50 students
under me.
As I
need to do
lots of photocopying
of materials and
stuff for these
students, I would be
very grateful if Yayasan
Kebajikan Suria Kawasan Permas
Johor Bahru could
aid me with
some financial backing
to defray my
heavy expenses at
times. I believe you
know the cost
of printing has
steadily increased these
days. What more with
workbooks, especially in the
teaching of literature.
Hence, I would
appreciate if your
establishment could kindly
assist me so
that I would
not be heavily
burdened. I am only
seeking a sum
of RM800 (Eight Hundred Only) a
month which can
help me in
purchasing books, printing and
teaching aids for
these secondary going
students.
Your kind
assistance would definitely
be a great
source of help
to me.
Looking forward
to a favourable
reply from your
goodself.
Yours Faithfully,
Vincent D’Silva
